Lighting fires is going to be a theme for us this weekend at Mountaintop.

On Saturday, June 15 we are participating in the 2^nd annual Wing Ding, sponsored by Leadership Vestavia Hills.  More than a dozen teams from the community will be firing up the grills and competing against each other.  This year our Mountaintop staff is joining the fun as team Holy Smokes - visit our Facebook page and “like” us at Holy Smokes.

Even better join us between 10:30 and 3:00 at Vestavia City Center.  Admission is $4, children under 12 are free and everyone gets to enjoy great chicken wings from the competitors, refreshments, live entertainment from Rollin’ in the Hay and activities for the children. 

Wing Ding is a chance to come together and celebrate our great community while helping out a worthy cause, the fight against Cystic Fibrosis.  Find out more at Wing Ding 2013 

On Sunday, June 16 we will continue our series working through the book of Daniel.  This Sunday the Writing on the Wall takes us to the story 3 men who find themselves in a fire where they discover that our God is able.   This is going to be a great Sunday to invite a friend to join us on campus or online at 9:30 and 11:15.  Our online campus is growing every week.  Joining us online is a simple as click on Mountaintop Online.  Why not share that link with everyone you know!

And this Sunday, June 16^th is Father’s Day.  As we honor our fathers we have a special surprise for a few lucky dads that will require lighting a fire (after the service) – and the band has an amazing special “fire” song.  You do not want to miss Sunday morning.
